Smokey Cumin Shrimp Salad
Easy and delicious, kept this one intuitive so add as much of or as little of anything as you like.Super simple and totally on the program. I made mine to serve 1.
Instructions
INGREDIENTS:
Romaine, chopped
Cabbage, shredded on the mandolin
Carrot, chopped fine
Radish, sliced and quartered
Red onion, chopped
Avocado, chopped
Shrimp, sautéed
Cilantro, chiffonade
Squeeze of fresh lime juice
JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette, to taste
Shrimp:
Olive oil
18 small shrimp
Smoked paprika
Cumin
JF Spicy Salt
3 pickled jalapeño slices, chopped
Cilantro, chiffonade
PROCESS:
Shrimp
Season your shrimp with smoked paprika, cumin, JF Spicy Salt, pickled jalapeño, and cilantro. Begin to warm your olive oil over medium-high heat. Add your shrimp, season with additional JF Spicy Salt, and sauté until pink, careful not to overcook.
Intuitive Smokey Cumin Shrimp Salad
In a large bowl, using the chopped romaine and cabbage as the base, begin to build your salad. Layer in the carrot, radish, red onion, and avocado. Top with your shrimp and fresh cilantro. Dress with a squeeze of lime and my JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette. Enjoy!
