Organic cilantro lime rice plated with sliced grilled chicken

Organic Chipotle Copycat Rice

This is a copycat of the Chipotle cilantro-lime rice. So good, great for kids, and easy to pair with any protein of your choice. Serves 4 with leftovers.


2 cups organic jasmine rice, rinsed and drained
8 cups water
1 organic bay leaf
JF Spicy Salt
2 Tbsp organic cilantro, chopped fine
2 Tbsp fresh organic lemon juice
2 Tbsp fresh organic lime juice


Step 1: Bring eight cups of water to a boil. Add in your rinsed jasmine rice, 1 bay leaf, and a generous pinch of my JF Spicy Salt. Allow that to cook down and absorb the water for about 14 minutes.

Step 2: Once time has elapsed, strain and rinse the rice with hot water. Transfer it to a large bowl and work in your cilantro, JF Spicy Salt, lemon, and lime juice.

Step 3: Adjust seasonings to taste and enjoy!
