“Holiday Vibes” Ground Turkey

A lighter, easy option for clean protein the entire family will eat. I made this fast “Holiday Vibes” Ground Turkey yesterday and everyone in the fam was into it. I ate mine over greens and vegan feta with JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette and the kids had theirs over spaghetti with Colby Jack. Serves 4. 


Olive oil
1 brown onion, chopped fine
3 stalks of celery, chopped fine
2 garlic cloves, minced
Fresh rosemary
Fresh thyme
Fresh sage
2lbs ground turkey
JF Spicy Salt
Fresh cracked black pepper


Step 1: In a large pan warm the olive oil and begin to sauté your chopped brown onion, celery, and garlic. Season with rosemary, thyme, sage, and JF Spicy Salt; adjust to taste. Allow this to sweat down and become translucent then add your turkey, breaking it up as it warms.

Step 2: Thoroughly re-season with additional JF Spicy Salt and cracked black pepper. Drain any residual fat as needed. Work in additional olive oil for a brown exterior and crisp bite.

Step 3: Once you’re satisfied with the cook, turn off the heat and scrape the base of the pan to remove any crisp bits stuck to the bottom. You want that - it’s flavor! Serve warm over greens or pasta with extra JF Spicy Salt to taste. Enjoy!
