Spicy Margarita Salad
It’s like a Spicy Margarita Salad with JF Spicy Salt and cut lime sprinkled on top….This is my form of self-care - a prepped healthy working lunch jar salad before 8am. Today it’s a cilantro, lime, anti-inflammatory, spicy, crunchy salad packed with color and protein. Serves 1.
JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette, to taste
Cabbage, shredded on the mandoline
Persian cucumber, sliced thin on the mandoline and quartered
Radish, sliced thin on the mandoline and cut into matchsticks
Jalapeño, deseeded and diced
Cilantro, coarsely chopped
Mixed greens, chopped
Fresh lime, quartered
JF Spicy Salt, to taste
Step 1: In your jar, begin to build your salad upwards using my JF Simple Mustard Vinaigrette as the base.
Step 2: Layer in the avocado, cabbage, carrots, tuna, cucumber, radish, pepitas, jalapeño, cilantro, and mixed greens - in that order.
Step 3: Finish with your quartered lime (to use when you’re ready to unpack and enjoy) and a sprinkle of JF Spicy Salt.
